Life on Earth: A Natural History by David Attenborough is a television natural history series made by the BBC. It was transmitted in the UK from 16 January 1979. During the course of the series Attenborough travels the globe in order to trace the story of the evolution of life on the planet.
The Silky Anteater or Pygmy Anteater (Cyclopes didactylus) is a species of anteater from Central and South America, ranging from extreme southern Mexico south to Brazil Delta Amacuro Venezuela and possibly Paraguay. It is the smallest member of the anteaters, with total length ranging from 360 to 450 mm (14.1-17.7 in) and usually weighing less than 400 g (0.88 lbs).
One of my favorite creatures.
