I’m willing to give drag-in-cosplay separate consideration (crossplay doesn’t count as drag in most cases).
I wound up skipping last night’s bedpost confessions after realizing that Mistress Stephanie goes by Adam Sultan. (also their apparent inability to not publish racist confessions)
You’re incorrect about Mistress Stephanie, who is a female performer. Adam Sultan is “The Melodic Cat.” Here’s their website. For what it’s worth, they didn’t actually perform at BedPost last night; they played after the show was over.
But yeah, the racist confessions suck. I myself didn’t stay for the whole of BedPost because it has gotten INSANELY crowded. I had to stand up on the second floor, where it got very stuffy, hot, and uncomfortable. I’m glad they’re getting so popular, but the overcrowding is definitely an issue for me when it comes to attending future shows.
